Nominations now being sought for an individual to fill this position on the board. Hopefully several candidates will come forward and we can listen to their views and opinions before deciding. Kudos of course to anyone who does put themselves forward. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Good luck to all those who decide to run. It feels like a great opportunity at the same time as being a hell of a task given the season so far. |

Nominations were to be in by Friday past. I wonder how many people, if any at all, put themselves forward. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

She's been there before and ....best way to describe it would be...it didn't work out as was maybe hoped for at that time.🥺 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

I might be wrong but reading between the lines I think we have two candidates with differing views which is a good thing. Be interesting to see how they answer the questions that will be posed to them and well done to both for putting themselves forward. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Big plaudits to those two. They have obviously got the fans at heart. |

I can't think why, as I don't know either of them, but I feel sure that the lady will be the one. |

Just a thought but why cant they both get the role?
Both offer something different and have something to offer.
The BoD talked about enlarging and diversifying the Board, well here's their chance!
The problem with the board is they completely ignored the wishes of the fans back in January by absolutely dismissing their opinion expressed by the fans director, perhaps a second fans voice could have brought about a better outcome. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 5, Smith 4, Easton 3, Hamilton 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Mitchell 1, Mullin 1, Stanton 1, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

Scotty, I don't know the technicalities , if any, of having two Supporters' Directors or hurdles to be jumped to have that happen.
However, first things first and would like to hear how they each respond to the trickier questions which might may be posed by supporters.
Mind you, it is fair to say that, with the support currently divided into factions, it might be difficult for one person to represent ''Raith Rovers Supporters'' !!
Can any candidate see that accomplished? |

As far as the technicalities go my understanding is that the in purchasing a % of the company at the time of Revive The Rovers the Trust were allowed one supporters representative on the board of directors. (This is the reason why I'm sure it's really the trust's position and not fans in general)
However, having acknowledged the mess they made of things in January now would be the ideal time to press for extra representation which could hopefully prevent ant repetition of previous failures.
To be honest though I don't think Mr Sim really wants any fan representation at all so I'd doubt this would happen, but as I said this would be the best time to ask for it. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 5, Smith 4, Easton 3, Hamilton 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Mitchell 1, Mullin 1, Stanton 1, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

I don't know Dorothy Wilson ,but i know Stevie Graham. He's been a supporter for over 40 years, owns or did own his own business. A proper Rovers fan. Good luck to both candidates. |
