Given the way Scottish football has declined since we were in the SPL, i'm wondering where people think our 1995 team would finish in today's SPL and how we'd fare up against the current SPL teams.
That's the team that won the the league cup and 1st division, and had Rovers in the top-half of the premier league for long spells of the following season; but before Nicholl left and Jimmy Thompson rebuilt the side:
For the sake of argument, we are there in place of Dunfermline.
Remember, this team finished joint-5th in the premier league that year (actually 6th but level on points with Hibs, who were 5th), albeit after Jimmy T made some critical signings to halt the slump we were in prior to Nicholl's departure. |

I'm sure this side would be challenging for a top 3 or 4th place. They were brilliant.
PS They would Wipe the floor against the current side - prove me wrong first teamers |

Hard to say, as this team was a typical Raith side able to compete with the best and also liable to go down to lesser teams without a fight.
1st quarter of the season was great, but as Sir Jimmy lost interest so did the team. |
