After the way we were treated by rangers fans last week and having our flag stolen by some of them i want to ask the question. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

Contact Ibrox and let them know about this theft Gav.
It must further embarrass a club with a already tarnished history that they might want to make amends? |

I would only go and watch the Rovers at Ibrox if it was a game of some importance. I gave last Saturday a miss as it has been well documented by fans of other teams the reception they got at Ibrox from the Rangers fans. Even teams like Albion Rovers were saying their fans got pelted by missiles. Whilst it's bad what happened to FF flag and the way the fans were treated but.....you were warned. |

I probably won't go back this season not because of fans but because as a team we lie down like lambs to the slaughter against the big teams and it is a total embarrasment.
As for the fans - the visiting section at Ibrox is not great as it is flanked on either side by Rangers fans, most of them with an IQ approaching zero.
That said I got no bother just watched the game and ignored them.
Some of our fans however rose to the bait and then spit the dummy when they get the verbals etc. No coins, no pies, no bovril, no one spat at least not at me.
Plenty little neds acting tough from the safety of their own crowd but it is Rangers in Glasgow what do you expect.
What I did find naff was the armed forces day stuff. I just felt there were undertones of something else.
I also thought it was hilarious to hear the tannoy announcement saying that Rangers do not allow sectarian songs. I then watched a little boy probably 6 or 7 singing along to Derry's walls word perfect. Sad really but thats what you get born into.
As for the flag - get over it man. Buy another one. |

There's a poster on the TAMB board saying the flag will be in the Rangers end next time we're at Ibrox. In saying that a lot of posters are saying the poster in question is on the wind up.

If the guy really has it and truly wants to wind up Fife's Finest he should bring it along to the next game at Starks and display it in the North Stand.
It's a poor show that someone has taken it but as others have said, it seems to be pretty much par for the course when you visit Ibrox. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

Thats a bit of a poor comment at the end NR , the lad who had the flag was mugged in broad day light by 4 so called Rangers fans . He put up a struggle but thats all he could do as he almost got a severe kicking for his trouble while other match day supporters walked by and did nothing. .
The flag cost around £300-£400 as it requires a fife safety certificate to be taken into grounds , so effectively he was robbed of £400 . I don't know about you NR but if I got robbered of that amount of cash I'd be fuming as well .
The supporters club are trying to get it back , any help would be appreciated . The flag that was stolen was the smaller sized flag which had a saltire on it with fifes finest written over the front and the bull playing the bagpipes .
From a personal point of view Ibrox was unpleasant . While the home support were allowed away with murder some of them more interested in winding up away fans than the match . The away support was persecuted by stewards and over zealous Strathclyde police who went for the easy option of controlling a small number of away fans with bully style tatics . _________________ Only on fan talk can supporters find a negative in a 5-0 win. 🤔

Wasn't there and don't know how things came about but why, when several flags, banners etc have been pinched there from away fans recently was one seemingly vulnerable person left with it in 1st place? Didn't the pars have their flag and drum nicked on last visit too actually?
Obviously no excuse for the scum doing it or the lack of stewardship from police or match day stewards but was obviously a big chance our flags would be targeted. |

I didn't know the circumstances of the flag issue but its done - I doubt very much you will get it back so let it go and learn from it. Constantly harping on about it and having polls about it really isn't going to make a difference.
As I said my epxerience was that if you went to the game, ignored the neds, watch the match and leave there were no issues.
However there were quite a number of Rovers fans gesticulating, pointing, shouting stuff back etc and then getting all upity with stewards and the police when they got it back with interest.
I mean really - its Rangers at Ibrox. As much as it sticks in the craw - just ignore them. |

The flag cost us over £300 with 4 idiots taking it from one of our lads so as you may understand i am not very happy. As for getting over it how would you like to lose something thats cost that amount of money NR.I gave a bit of stick but can handle that but taking the flag is not on.I have also seen a photo of the flag online with 3 rangers fans kneeling in front of it showing it off.Regarding why one young lad was left with the flag himself i dont know but will find out. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE
