Shamelessly robbed from Big Ians other thread.
What IMO the commercial head honcho at RRFC should be doing just now is getting around the table with Morrisons and thrashing out a deal to get them to invest in some advertising or even a partnership with the club.
Morrisons are a new supermarket opening up in the town and they are opening in a few months within sight of the Starks park. They also have a supermarket in Glenrothes and as a company with stores in both areas that Raith fans are from they could be ideal for working with us.
The Morrisons South stand anyone?
If there was money involved I'd even change the away strip to all yellow with their logo on it.
the company has long had links with Scottish football (national side) surely this is an opportunity that is too good not to at least check out? _________________ Competitive goals: Connolly 15, Gullan 7, Easton 7, Stanton 6, Vaughan 5, Dick 3, Akio 2, Brown 2, Connell 2, Goncalves 2, McBride 2, Frederiksen 1, McGill 1, Nolan 1, OG 1. |

Can't argue with any of that. Makes plenty of sense.
So longs our strip doesn't end up like the staff uniform.
Top - green white pinstripes
Shorts - green
Socks - don't think it matters by this point!! |

Yuk no!
Navy home tops with the logo in yellow and yellow away top with the logo in whatever colour they want away shorts would look good in navy but if it cash cash dependant I could live with green as long as it was very very dark green _________________ Competitive goals: Connolly 15, Gullan 7, Easton 7, Stanton 6, Vaughan 5, Dick 3, Akio 2, Brown 2, Connell 2, Goncalves 2, McBride 2, Frederiksen 1, McGill 1, Nolan 1, OG 1. |

Agreed. Sure Morrisons wouldn't mind giving away a few thousand to help get their name spread in a town with three major supermarkets already, in addition to Aldi and Lidl. |

We can all agree with this in principal but (to steal a rugby analogy) it has to be the club in its official capacity that picks up the ball and runs with it.
I know the bod read these pages so hopefully there is a wee seed to be sewn if it hasn't already been done so. _________________ Competitive goals: Connolly 15, Gullan 7, Easton 7, Stanton 6, Vaughan 5, Dick 3, Akio 2, Brown 2, Connell 2, Goncalves 2, McBride 2, Frederiksen 1, McGill 1, Nolan 1, OG 1. |

Morrisons are a national chain and i'd be astonished if they felt the need or willing to be associated with the Rovers any more than any other town they have a branch which is probably most of them. |
