Haven't heard from any of the lads in ages, I think the ground staff took over a lot of the work. Perhaps the squad isn't needed anymore? |

Depending on what's required, I think I could find a Bending Spring and a pair of Footprints. Although Big Q may not have seen me use them in anger when I was at Hayfield. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Exellent article on the official site about the current work going on at San starko to keep the ground in good shape.
A lot of peeps may be surprised as to how much time ,effort and money are put in to ensure we have a very good pitch.
Well done to the hard working ground staff.......not many express their thanks.
Without this quality of people (and money) we would end up playing on some of the quagmires we see at other grounds. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

I was also wondering this as i seen the groundsmen were out painting the railings which i thoughtwould of been good for couple of helpers and allowed him to get on with the pitch |

Rovers have finally fixed the speakers in the stadium, never done It when the fans asked for them to be sorted, but when Laurie Ellis testimonial comes along and they have director and players talking they got fixed. Well done. |
