|
|
All week the cricket pundits are saying England are shaping up well, looking like a good bet to win the Twenty20 World Cup......
Shock horror, total embarrassment as Holland, the cricket minnows classed with Scotland and Ireland gubbed England in the First Round!
Shot and foot spring to mind! |

Funny, but not a patch on the clown that was singing the praises of
Snr Capello and boldly stating that England would win the trophy next year in sth Africa.
Poor deluded fool, perhaps he didn't see the 1st half and only caught the score. _________________ Competitive goals: Easton 5, Vaughan 5, Smith 4, Hamilton 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Mitchell 1, Mullin 1, Stanton 1, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

England bounced back from their ignominious loss to the Netherlands with a 48-run win over Pakistan which guarantees their progress into the Super Eight phase of the ICC World Twenty20.

If Australia turn up then England will be well beaten in the Ashes. They certainly wouldn't have lost to the Dutch. Heck, we didn't even lose to them in our friendly soccer (sic) match a few months back! _________________

Although i would love too see the Aussies win the ashes i can't see it happening.
Brett Lee looked out of sorts during the T20 World Cup, so unless he can find and extra yard or two of pace then he won't be effective enough.
But.......as it's cricket and ***land anything could happen. |

Chris I maybe wrong but did your second team get beat again tonight in the apprentices learn how to play your shots right oh damn i've done it again showpeice for "British" ex Cricket players who should know better than their football counterparts about putting your foot in the mouth before you engage your brain. This covers every sporting event that has "BRITISH" usually Welsh,Irish,Scottish competitors, but hey we like to keep yourself and your countrymen at the forefront of sporting achievements. |
