I have an idea that could raise a few quid for RALLY ROUND ROVERS and possibly my ROCK THE ROVERS CHARITY FUND.The idea is to sell some RAITH LEGENDS MERCHANDISE i.e calendars,mugs,t-shirts etc.It could be done online or by order forms handed out to fans at games the same way that tile orders are done.I have already ordered a couple of legends calendars that should be here next week which look great.The merchandise can also be personalised aswell if those ordering them would like added.The calendars have 12 rovers legends on them but folk dont need to just buy these ones they can order them with any players on them.Its an idea and i will see what the fundraising group think about it but it could be seller.

I ordered a couple of sample calendars and they should be here next week but if you want one that will be fine Laughing

I am not sure what i will be selling them at yet but will check to see what the quality is like.They are samples but if folk want to order them then there is a lot that can be added to them.I can pm you when they arrive kenny and we can take it from there.I will get jim to put a bit and a pic on the website with more details so folk can see what they look like and i can also do xmas cards if anyone wants them.Just tell me what players you want put on them Wink

p.s DO YOU THINK AM DAFT KENNY COURSE THEY ARE 2011 IT ONLY GOES AS FAR AS DEC 31st ha ha

I am not going to bother doing any legends merchandise as i have other things to do this year.

I may not be doing much rovers fundraising this year apart from what i already have set up i.e ROCK THE ROVERS,GEORDIE MUNRO RECORDING/CD and WALL OF FAME TILES.What i will be involved in is going to be more for the community but will also involve the rovers along the way.The legends merchandise is an idea i had and if someone wants to take it on and publicise etc then great as it could bring in a couple of quid.I still have 2 calendars here thats paid for so i may bring it down to starks so folk can use them or even see what i was looking at.

Legends things would be good as in cups etc pity you have had a change of heart, online would be better as a link to the manufacturer would be ideal

Its actually through a foundation i am going to be involved in and i have spoke to tom phillips about raiths involvement as regards coaching etc.Its still in the early stages as the last time i heard we were just waiting for charity status to be confirmed.I dont really get a lot of backing from the club as regards certain community things i do but sometimes it depends on timescales.The exception is the christmas visits where they are usually quite good at getting players along.The club do some of their own community stuff but you would have to speak to them or check the website about what they do.The legends merchandise could be quite good if done properly and the calendars i got was just a spur of the moment thing which i organised over a few days.I only spoke to one manufacturer but am sure there is local ones who would do stuff if somebody put the time into it.
