I've voted for one suggestion - but, frankly, the sentiment is what counts and I'd go with whatever was the most popular. Maybe a pro-active table beside the wall with forms and the facility to collect money there and then would help? And as I hate those folk who put up fancy ideas but leave them to others to do, maybe I'm putting myself in the firing line. BUT, while I'm not sure at this point how many games I'll get to this year, I guess you may have some sort of, er... volunteer... Shocked Did I really say that? Embarassed

I voted for Wall of Fame. This made think why don't we have tiles with our most "famous" past players.

The players could be nominated by the Supporters Club, the Raith Trust, The BoD, and a poll could be organised at the start/during the season to get the fans view. Tiles would be paid for by subscription by the "ordinary" fan and by the bodies/organisation who did the nominating. I guess someone would have to pick criteria for being famous.

It's just a thought. Rolling Eyes

I thought that 'Wall of Fame' was too close to 'Hall of Fame' and would make folks think, like SOW said, of past players and teams.

I think the Raith Family is more appropriate because we cannot choose our own family and familieas don't always get on - just like us!

SOW, don't take this too personally, but a few of us were looking at the last four tiles to go up and...well they look out of place.

The blue is a different Blue from the rest and the font used is terrible, especially compared with the others there.

We were going to buy one each but not if theyre going to be like these last four.Rolling Eyes

sorry

I agree that "wall of fame" tends to make you expect to see former players on it.
My idea isn't much better, but I think it should be along the lines of something that indicates the wall is all about supporters backing the club.
Something like.....
" Supporting Wall" or "Wall of support" or " Right behind the Rovers"
" True Supporters".......
You get my drift Confused
