can't believe no one has mentioned The Smiths! What is the world coming too. ok here are mine
Smiths - Queen is Dead
Morrissey - You are the Quarry
Echo and the Bunnymen - Ocean Rain
Stone Roses - Stone Roses
Wedding Present - Watusi (George Best a very close second)
best two albums of this year
Noah and the Whale - Peaceful, the world lays me down
Frightened Rabbit - Midnight Organ Fight
Not wanting to criticise anyone elses choice but how can you have a 'best of' album in a list like this?????? _________________ I don't want to go to Idaho, I'd rather watch Christian Nade |

I don't tend to like whole albums but will pick a few from most that i really like and there's usually one or two that I don't like as much. |

Something weird has happened to me in the last few weeks. I've fallen back into prog rock again. Then I discovered it never went away - not really. My current fave of 2009 is the Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound's new album When Sweet Sleep Returned. The band name is so long you by the time you say it you've forgotten the name of the album. _________________
