I'm stunned!
And very saddened with this news.
I was friendly with Bill and he and I kept in touch even after he stepped down a couple of years ago. Admittedly we hadn't been in touch much this past six months or so, therefore, I wasn't aware he wasn't keeping well. Just the way sometimes how things pan out in life.
I'll always be grateful to Bill for all the support and encouragement he gave me for representing the club as its ambassador to McCrea's Battalion Trust.
My deepest condolences go to Ann and the family.

Not someone I personally knew but i would often see him in and around the ground happily and cheerfully speaking to his friends and other supporters. A gentleman who put much of his own precious time into the Rovers for nothing more than his love for the club.
Deepest condolences to his family and friends.
