It is in theory a good initiative, allowing vulnerable or under privileged children free entry to watch Raith Rovers.
What I don't get is what is the raised mpney to be used for? Is it to purchase tickets? I would of thought the club would donate tickets. |

Are the club just promoting it and donations are paying for it? _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

I would say that it is much like the donations to pay for a couple of season tickets or match packages (for those unable to afford it otherwise) that was mentioned earlier this season, to be distributed through the Community Foundation. The team has surely also donated some amount, but cannot simply do that to whatever level is needed, as there are costs associated. As such, asking the fanbase to help defray the costs is a valid choice. |
