Delighted for McGlynn in making it to another Scottish Cup semi. A big pay day for both clubs which may well help them compete against us next season. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Certainly a very big payday for whichever of them get to the final, pity it wasn't us but thats the way the cookie crumbles I guess |

Quite amazing when you think that Falkirk have been in League 1 all those years and Inverness were knocked out by QP and given a bye. I think "if only" but we did get that big pay day that we never thought we would! One of them won't get that. |

Both Falkirk and Inverness will make serious money as the gate receipts for the two semi finals are pooled.
As well as that, the TV money and prize money rises substantially.
It'll be interesting to see how the SFA price the tickets for the semis.
If they price them low, so as to attract a half decent crowd to the Falkirk game, they'll lose a lot of potential revenue from the Old Firm game, but if they price them high so as to maximise revenue from the old firm, there'll be a desolate crowd at the other semi. _________________ Dougie Hill

I think if you are a fan, even a casual one, of either Falkirk or Inverness then you'd be willing to pay a premium to see your team in a very winnable Scottish Cup semi. A higher price might put off a neutral bit how many of them would actually go to see this match? _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

I'm sure The Rangers will feed a story to the Daily Record tomorrow about them signing Jude Bellingham or Harry Kane just to deflect the anger of their hordes for a week or so. _________________ Dougie Hill

That's me pencilled in the 25th May for a visit to Hampden to see the Rovers in the final.
We're due one. After all it's only been a hundred and ten years since the club's last Scottish Cup final.🫣 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
