None scored by Crewe either…BBC described a “distinct lack of quality” in front of goal in the 0-0 match. Conner at RCB the whole game.

Not getting the relevance that has to Conner

Crewe manager speaks very highly of him post match.

Doesn’t sound like there is any chance of him returning here, wish him well in the future…

Discusses Conner at the 2:50 mark forward. Certainly seems very happy with his development of passing and moving play forward, clearly indicates he wants him to stay with Crewe.

Doubt he will be back having now played for first team - consign to former players now?
Thought Lang had a great game on Friday with Nolan playing well too. Don’t think he will be missed - not saying he was without ability but wasn’t over impressed with a few of his latter games.

Suggests they’ll be in need of solid defence the rest of the way, and it looks like Conner helps them in that category. It’s a bad sign for us that they are that woeful at scoring that solid defending is critical to them.

He's just put Crewe 1-0 up.

Assuming it was from a set piece. Probably the first decent ball into the box he's had all season.

Second ball from a corner, from about 8 yards out.

O’Riordan looks to have cemented himself a starting spot at Crewe, as we feared. He supplanted the suspended Captain, and now had played better than him and scored. Add that they have 15 games in the next 8 weeks and any hopes we had of his return look dashed. We should take a bit of pride in this.

Just equalised late on to make it 3-3 against Salford.

He didn’t do that for us, which makes me wonder if something is wrong with our system.

mods…transfer to former player forum?

Probably nothing to do with systems and more to do with consistently rank bad set piece delivery.

Go on Rovers, make me choke on these words tomorrow.
