Falkirk were the other team in for him too, couldn’t he have just gone there instead?!
Can’t begrudge Goodwillie the money we had to pay him though, he did nothing wrong and the move has basically ended his playing career.
Ourselves, Clyde and player himself are all wishing he stayed where he was. |

At the year end the club had entered into negotiations with an employee over termination of employment. These were concluded by settlement agreement whercby employment terminated and all employment claims or rights ot actions were
settled in October 2022. The provision at the year-end represents all relevant amounts due in connection with the settlement |
That's the Rangers money gone then, could be worse, we could be Falkikrk |
New page so I better quote what I’m referring to. |

Sorrento, a team in Australia earlier today announced that DW was due sign for them. There was then a fan backlash and the contract with withdrawn within an hour of the signing announcement.
Surely that's him done as a footballer now. |

He released a statement today saying that there has been a lot of misinformation about him over the last year.
He intends to get his story across soon. We are going to get dragged back into this whole mess. |

It was a story in one of the papers about Barry bannan making a comment on the statement, something along the lines of 'top bloke'. A number of Wednesday fans up in arms about it. |

Just watched the Goodwillie interview which was released at 5pm tonight. Its on a podcast by James English.
Firstly I appreciate that it's a podcast but the interviewer is horrific, clearly not impartial and on the side of the accused.
He went into some of the details that night but he elected not to mention, the
accounts of the doot staff, toxicology experts accounts what the male in the neighbouring property overheard.
Where I do agree with him is that it should of been played out in a criminal trial, then there would of been a final verdict, what ever that may of been. However only the crown can explain their error in this case not being able to see a high court trial.
Whilst I have no sympathy for him , I do feel for his family. |

Not listened to it yet but thiught the reason it didn,t reach a criminal trial was because CPS didnt think there was enough evidence for a conviction _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

I may have it wrong. It was my understanding that the crown could not take to trial due to the evidence provided by Robertson.
He was provided with some immunity type thing but then admitted to sexual intercourse also. Think was they couldn't prosecute one without the other. However that was my interpretation and maybe miles off. |

All reports said lack of evidence was why Goodwillie case never reached a criminal court
.Robertson was never charged
Cant say I,m comfortable with the civil case system especially in this instance _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |
