Certainly will be interesting to see how BBC react. Is there a precedent for visiting the same ground/showing the same team in consecutive rounds of the Cup? Is there nothing in the contract which stipulates that TV coverage is shared around ( to a viable extent)? |

As far as I can see, the TV coverage is unrestricted beyond designating the order in which broadcasters may chose games. |

Thanks Tx, and indeed Darvel chosen again along with e.g. Hamilton and ( no surprise) Partick.
Ah well, I like football at 3pm on a Saturday!
Hopefully, so do Motherwell supporters, in good number |

Unsurprisingly the erse cheeks get the saturday, sunday fixtures and Hamilton and Darvel punted to Friday and Monday night
Better for us as if we had been the TV game it would more than likely had an impact on the attendance and been on the Friday or Monday night _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Queens Park beating ICT tonight, may have played an ineligible player, see how this pans out. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Initial date 21 Jan, 2023…Euan Henderson loaned to Queen’s on 27 Jan, 2023…seems pretty clear cut under Rule 12.5. They violate 12.4 by listing him on the team sheet, let alone playing him! Under 1.3, this then goes to a Compliance Officer for investigation and/or to a Judicial Panel under the JPP.
That’ll take us to 11.5 of the JPP, Sanctions. In determining the Sanction, under 11.4 they would have to consider if the listing of Henderson was intentional, reckless or careless to determine the range of sanction to apply…and surely this one is either careless or intentional. In either case, I can’t see allowing Queen’s to advance as is.
The Scottish Cup features heavily in this section, and the JP is specifically empowered to annul a result, award a result, compel a replay, eject a team, etc. JPP Rule 303, specifically covers compliance with SFA Rule 12, and mandates ejection from the cup, a possible loss of round payment, and a possible fine for such a violation.
TL;DR - Queen’s are out and ICT will advance. |

Even I knew that rule!
You surely can’t tell me that nobody at Queens Park, admin, board, staff, players didn’t know it was breaking rules. Then there is the player himself! He must have known!
Usually I feel for the small clubs who are punished severely when an ineligible player is on the bench or comes on for 10mins without influencing the result etc but this must just be a case of cheating
Chuck the book at them, they were either stupidly cheating or just completely stupid as a whole and deserve everything that’s coming to them |

That rule has been in place for decades.
When we signed Gordon Dalziel in February 1987 he could immediately play in league matches, but missed both of the Peterhead cup replays as he wasn't registered at the time of the first game at Stark's Park. _________________ Dougie Hill

Versions of it…it was 14 days for a while, think it was 2009-2010 the current version started, perhaps as initially noon on the Saturday, but them moved to previous game time as TV games started moving. |

Not even mentioned in post match interviews!
Someone should make a statement on this stupidity by cutting across the interview question and focus the attention on the potential danger of this nonsense.
I'm on my high horse with this ridiculous and dangerous act which seems to be just accepted by the majority.
Punt Hearts out the cup and make this something that people will notice. They can always be allowed back in on appeal. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

MacGregor wisnae at all happy and did put up token resistance but well done Michael Beale on going for fair play. I bet the great unwashed were absolutely 'Beale'-in at his decision 😄
I'm also of the opinion that this wouldn't have happened if the opponents were the other half of the Erse cheeks 🤔 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
