What a day for the 10,000 Rovers fans and Rovers fans everywhere.

Indeed Tam.
There were so many in the years before who spent a lifetime supporting the Rovers but never got the chance to witness what we did.
Let's hope it's another good 27th November with a cup win at Falkirk.🤞

Twenty eighth anniversary on Sunday.
A proper anniversary as it also includes the day of the week as well as the date of great deeds done in the past.
We all live in hope of seeing the like of that day again.🤞😄

I was residing in Germany at the time.

Getting to the game was a non starter.

Was out on the pop, when I got back there was a note saying contact the orderly officer........that had happened once before, on that occasion it was to inform me my grandmother had died..... Crying or Very sad

So, off I went to the nearest telephone expecting the worst.... Crying or Very sad

.......and the worst had indeed come to pass........my brother was shouting down the phone telling me all about the win. Rolling Eyes

unfortunately for me......BFPS (service television channel) were showing the match in full but delayed start......we got nowt “live” and so I watched the game into the early hours, but having already known the result........it wiznae quite the same feeling of elation that most others would have felt at that time.

BUT ( happy ending) .......I didnae have to drink to celebrate coz ah wiz sozzeled out my tree and fairly relaxed.

My bruv said the town was full of people outside going nuts.
Got the video though.
What a game, and what a Victory.😁😁🤪🤪
