Higher than I would of thought!
I honestly don’t know where I heard or read it so might be totally false but led to believe their refurbished Lesser Hampden is going to have a capacity of 1,200?!
If true, not exactly in line with everything you read about them hoping to be a self sufficient top flight side in the future…
On another note, maybe mods or admin can help… I created a topic a couple of months back titled something along the lines of ‘Scottish Championship 22/23’. I noticed a few weeks ago it vanished?! What’s the script with that? Are we only permitted to talk about ‘results that effect us’ in this topic and nothing about anything else in the division?
Not the 1st time one of my topics has just disappeared, adding that to the odd post here and there that does likewise makes we wonder what’s going on? |
SB, you posted your topic in, quite correctly, the Football in General, section. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

It was BBC report that has the attendance as 593 , must be quite some loss on the balance sheet come seasons end if that's all the attendance they're getting |

ICT take early lead at home to Ayr.
If the weather is anything like up here then they'll be playing in gale force winds. 40-50mph here just now.☹️
The only positive after 60 minutes is that the bottom two are getting beat, but only by one goal. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Long way to go yet but thankfully Cove, Accies and Lichties are also struggling. It still doesn't paper over our undoubted deficiencies. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Hamilton v ICT - Challenge Cup
Injury-ravaged Inverness Caledonian Thistle have warned fans about making a 340-mile journey to watch their team as they will essentially be fielding a youth side against Hamilton Academical.
The club says "it is only fair" their supporters are aware of the effect of their injury list before they purchase tickets for the SPFL Trust Trophy tie.
Accies host Inverness on successive weekends before Christmas.
The club referred to a "lack of assistance" from the SPFL.
In a statement on the club website, Inverness indicate that because of their "continued unprecedented injury situation", the club has "no choice but to play a team in this tie which will not include many of our current first team squad".
The statement continued: "While we will obviously welcome support for the boys, this in effect will mean our U18 squad, many of whom are still at school, will play the game.
"We believe that it is only fair that our supporters know this in advance of purchasing tickets and planning a round trip journey of six hours-plus and over 300 miles, which we do of course face again the following week in the league match at Hamilton."
Inverness say they have explained to their hosts that the decision was based solely on their injury situation. |

Could be an interesting day for us in the league, if results go the right way, last nights point may be quite valuable |

Both ICT and QP take early lead against Lichties and Cove respectively.
Quite happy if both win as it increases the gap a wee bit more to the teams below us.
ETA Now 1-1 after 25 minutes at Gayfield.
On reflection 🤔 maybe a drawn game here suits us best? _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Yep sounds about right, Cove looking like they're going to be swept away , I'd settle for the same results at FT |

ICT score late in first half to go in 2-1 up at the break.
QP appear to have killed off the Paul Hartley bounce. Up 3-0 at the break in Cove.
I just hope it still isn't bouncing next weekend. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

The way I usually look at results is that others who drop 2 points each is usually better than 1 team getting 3
ie........2 teams each drop 2 points.......= 4 points lost.
Depends on which way suits depending on your own teams situation. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Queen’s looking overpowering, but it is Cove. ICT look back on track. That’s our next three League opponents, and two are firing well, not good.
Edited: Correction, Queen’s is a Cup match.

Cove chairmans decision to bin McIntyre in favour of his son in law is going well.🙂
Results are sitting nicely for us certainly at the bottom end. |

A little more breathing space at the bottom and still in touching distance of a top four........ pleasing |

Just about at a stretch still in touch with the promotion chasing clubs but it's unlikely now that we will be relegated. It's all about finishing as high as we can as each place higher up comes with a considerable bump up in prize money. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |
