Long, long, time ago now, but I played against them when a student in Aberdeen and they were a reasonably decent amateur club. Changed days indeed 😊 |
I think we've only beaten them once when they ground shared on a temporary fashion up at Station Park in a League Cup sectional game. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Alan Preston on Sportsound after the games.
Richard Gordon 'what are your impressions of Dunfermline?'
AP 'they were rubbish, the worst full time professional Scottish club I've seen'
Just think, I we had got our act together at the last game at EEP they would have been down automatically. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

I'd have preferred two draws tonight, but I'm not overly bothered about Morton and Cove winning.
If QP and Dundee had won, it would have really isolated the bottom five from the top five, but it gives teams in the bottom half a wee sniff of climbing a few places. _________________ Dougie Hill

Right now, they are good results if we have any aspirations of troubling the top 4 spots, keeps it all really tight.
*Hopefully* a bit early to be worrying about the bottom end. |

Couple of wins and we are climbing the league. It’s going to be a rollercoaster season for us I feel. The side who goes on a consistent run of several games unbeaten will be the ones challenging but can’t see that really happening with such a tight league . |

Could've been worse and 3 points behind, all in all a draw was most favourable for us I think |

Don't look downwards,guys!
More relevant to The Rovers is that Queens Park were 1-0 up at half time and Arbroath pegged them back
to one point, giving us the chance to gain on QP this afternoon. |

Ayr v Partick tonight.
1-1 after 30 mins.
Would keep everything tight if this finished as a draw.
ETA 2-1 Ayr HT.
Puts Ayr at the top on GD from ICT if things end up with a home win. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
