Macdonald MoM for me tonight. Thought video stream was okay if a bit jerky. Glad to be able to see the team play at all as stuck at home just now after a dodgy cataract operation. Honestly thought we we played a lot better in second half but agree we missed a couple of almost open goals and we shouldn’t be doing that. Also hit bar twice I think tonight. Hope the big islander can find his feet (and head). _________________ Here Wee go again |

Happy with that. Did not think beforehand we would take full points from that game.
Three points off third-place now, albeit Ayr and Partick have a game-in-hand over us. |

An excellent three points in what were terrible conditions. Gayfield never disappoints on that front.
Arbroath had alot of pressure and possession first half with a gale force wind behind them but barring Mcdonalds excellent save from the header I dont recall much of note chance wise.
Stanton took his goal with aplomb take note Connell how to beat a keeper 1 v 1. Great finish from the MOM just when we needed it.
Second half with the wind behind us and Arbroath chasing the game we were liable to get in behind with quick breaks and Connell will not get two better gifts to score, particularly the second one in which he had an angle to get across Gaston. Those misses made it more nervy than it should have been 2 or 3 nil wouldn't have flattered us.
Defence solid and resolute again. Cant see that back four changing anytime soon.
Big John again really struggled to get in the game. He seems to be struggling with the Scottish game so far and we cant seem to get him involved in games. Doesnt appear at this stage to offer us much.
A pleasing result and performance in difficult conditions. And welcome back Mickey Cameron. |

You should of started and finished your post with that instead of a whack of things that weren't good or to your liking. Twat. |

Looking at the highlights, Connell’s second attempt was nearly exactly what Stanton did on his goal, but the keeper got his foot on it, just. The first was certainly a poorer effort.
O’Riordan will be a huge loss, if he departs as expected in January, but I’m sure Lang will be worked in soon.
I think it’s a wee bit unfair to Big John how some posters have said he’s just plain terrible. It is, as you note, a failure to involve along with likely rustiness. Note that just before Millen’s yellow, Big John was but an Arbroath toe away from being through, onside, behind the entire Arbroath defence and bearing down on the keeper. His run to get to that position showed understanding of his role, and the through pass attempted to him was well taken. |

I will comment on what I see fit.
I will not use foul and abusive language like yours.
If what you posted is the sum of your intelligence.....then That is your problem.
It is you and a few others like you that drive away hundreds if not thousands of people from posting on this site.

You're still a negative poster in my view.
