Probably right Vinnie...........
As my old mum once said to me - "Never work for a woman". Why? I asked.

Financial mess by the club. Would of been costly to pay him off I suspect. Would not be surprised if he as something else outwith Scotland lined up. |

I'd be quite happy with that, almost destroyed the club 'she loves' to promote her own agenda. Did she ever once think of the devastation she could have caused had the club folded because of her ill considered comments, and getting a misinformed ginger on her side didn't help either.
I would welcome the ladies team back though, I think they were led up the garden path by her.
However, As Franco said earlier, lessons learned, move on with rebuilding the clubs profile as an inclusive club. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

I have issues with a couple of things here:
- Val’s agenda, really? Don’t sign DG or I’ll leave, they told her they wouldn’t, then signed him and she left. No massive agenda there…
- The real elephant in the room is her comments and interviews, that’s what I hope you are complaining about. Sorry, but we reaped the benefit of a public figure when she was for us, it’s insane to expect to avoid a hit when you cross them. And, it not like it was a little or petty subject.
- “Misinformed ginger”…really? I thought we’d moved past such things.
- The ladies team were “…led down the garden path by her…”. My God, we signed a player that offended nearly the whole ladies team and then doubled down on it. If anything is correct, WE insulted the ladies team and expected them to shut-up and accept it. They didn’t, and you’re insulted and distressed?!
I’m fully onboard with the rebuilding as an inclusive club. As such, some of these comments are exactly what ISN’T inclusive, and should be pondered s such. Normally your comments are well informed and incisive, but here you missed the mark. |

Good post. My thoughts entirely.
Her claims to be a life long fan are up for debate. At a pre covid club function she asked Paul Smith, who anybody of her age should remember that he along with Keith Wright scored a barrowload of goals together, " so Paul, what teams did you play for"?. Laughable. I think her interest in the club was more in memory of her late father. She's toxic andi hope she never sets foot back inside San Starko. |
