A good three points to get with, on paper, two tough games coming up. Six points on the board is something I didn't see coming two weeks ago after our below par start to the season so I'm delighted to see the team achieve consecutive victories. Hopefully once reports come in we also gave a performance to match the result. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Listening to the Raith TV commentary, it sounded like it was pretty much the perfect away performance.
Took (some of) our chances, defended stoutly and managed the game to the extent Hamilton didn't even have a shot on target in the second half. _________________ Dougie Hill

Found a stream online. As straight forward a win as you'll see. Probably should have been 5 or 6 if I'm honest. |

Just in the door after being away most of the day without my phone or other ways to check the score.
What a great win and three points.
It won't be easy by no means but same again next week would not go amiss.🙂
Well done everyone.👍 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

great stuff - another week together on the training pitch showed, the understanding between the group was better, we looked pretty solid at the back and if we were more clinical up top it could have been a lot more.
hope the injuries are minor.
good test awaits next week and that will probably be a better benchmark of where we are.
all good. _________________ Gallatown boot boys |

Just back.
Great start, all over them like a bad rash.
Quick one-two footy had them chasing shadows.
Brown was dominating the midfield like a man mountain.
After he went off, we lost our way somewhat and struggled to dominate as we had been doing.
That said, this team worked their collective socks off. No passengers, they worked hard for each other and defended very well as a team only not as “ cutting” after Brown went off injured.
The back four was solid, only recognised Dick , the others were fairly new ( to me).
Only downer for me was the lack of discipline shown by Stanton + 1 other mouthing off at the Ref and got a yellow card.
I am well aware it is difficult to keep your 🤐 when the Ref appears to be giving them everything and only the occasional scrap to us,BUT, at some point we will lose him through suspension and that is not on. Undoubtedly he is talented and is very involved all over the park but he must keep his mouth shut.
The style of play is lovely to watch. IM has them pressing hard and as a result Hamilton could never get to grips with us today.
Gullen I thought worked his socks off and chased everything, many people simply look at goals only regarding strikers and maybe he needs to score more, but he does a huge amount of work which is invaluable to the team.
The crowd was vocal today, the fast start by the team really lifted us and there was plenty of cheering along throughout.
Pass marks all round from me.
After the second goal rovers had Hamilton chasing shadows. They moved the ball and made them run around chasing shadows.
A season full of performances like this is a big ask, but they look capable of being a really good team.
Enjoy, relax, have a bit of fun, then come back and do it again please. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

A fantastic result today. A very important win considering the stiff test we will face next week. I hope Scott Brown is fit for Firhill as he his quickly turning into a key player for us. Keep it going lads. |

It’s a funny old league this year, according to reporter on radio in Greenock, Morton “dominated” for vast majority of game v Dundee. The Morton I seen last week looked relegation material…. Hamilton today are probably relegation material, Inverness looked awful on TV last night while we were relegation certainties after trip to Cove..(who themselves now look relegation material!)
Not at game today unfortunately but chuffed to bits with what I’ve read and heard. We are still a couple of players away from where we probably want to be but for now I’m just enjoying the fact we have gone from rock bottom to a couple of points off summit in little over a week! |

Stanton was excellent today. |

I understand Stanton played well as DM today, but when Brown was at CB, Stanton as a DM was a miserable failure. That may be tied to Brown’s limitations at CB as well, and this may then show he can fulfill that role with proper CB’s behind him. If so, that’s great news. |
