Hopefully we can get the season on track. Also that this is the last time for that topic leader. _________________ Here Wee go again |

Raith 5-4 Dundee.
5 oggies by their defence more likely than Gullan scoring... |

I will happily settle for the team giving it their all with their “ game head” ON.
Kids will make mistakes, hopefully fewer as they learn.
I am also confident, that if the game goes ahead, we will WIN, draw
Or maybe lose
Seriously though, hopefully the manager will get a good reaction from the team.
It is definitely a work in progress. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

I hope it's not a season where we just delete "Dundee" in the topic leader and insert .....v... (the name of any team in the league).
You kinda get a feeling, even this early, that it's going to be hard going.
But whatever the results in the coming months just please do not do a Pars!!
Just get the season back on track asap, starting on Saturday.🤞🙂 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Its gone very quiet in here over the last few weeks, not many posting after the euphoria of a new manager, must all be on their holibobs.
I've got a funny feeling the lads will come good on Saturday and get a result |

I hope you’re right AR, I think we need a result to settle our nerves. In my opinion a draw would be a good result and give us some confidence for the following weeks home game. |

Can’t see us not conceding with a makeshift defence |

I think some expectations have been tempered by our new reality. In some ways that may be a good thing as it will take some pressure off Murray. It was always fanciful that we were going to progress from merely being playoff challengers to being genuine title challengers.
That said all it takes is a run of results and suddenly we'll be dreaming again. Hopefully that run can start on Saturday. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Just read my Raith digest e-mail ( weekly)........it states “ watch/listen to on Raith TV.
IS IT ?.
I thought these games were only allowed for those that live outside UK
.
Am I wrong or is the e- mail misleading?
(Dundee home game) ......raith at home. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Listening inside the UK is acceptable, viewing is not allowed (except for Very Persistent Non-attendees).

1st game of season ‘live’ for me.
I’m fairly hopeful we can pick up 3pts. Certainly not in the ‘doom n’ gloom’ camp that many seem to be in already after 90mins of league action… |

I fear this game has come too quick for our two young central defenders to get used to each other. I'm certain we will lose tomorrow but i just hope we go down fighting. Hoping for the best but fearing the worst as usual. |

I always get a buzz about the first home League game of the season . The opposition being pre-season title favourites Dundee adds another level to this (although I'd have preferred another team to be visiting SP so early in the season)
The likelihood that we will have a very youthful CB pairing gives things an extra twist.
The atmosphere should be good, so roll on tomorrow at 3pm and a valuable three points following on.
C'mon on The Rovers! |

Mind a few years back after we had won third tier, we played Dundee on 1st day (drew 2-2?) but 1st 5 mins was played amongst hundreds of balloons! Great atmosphere that day |

it would be great to keep a clean sheet and sneak any kind of winner - but i'd take a hard fought 0-0 if offered. Silky stuff can wait! _________________ Gallatown boot boys |
