No Raith TV pre-match interview with IM , apparently because no-one available when IM was.
Let's just hope that IM 's interview window was very short because he was so busy finalising signing-on arrangements for reinforcements.
If not, the existing guys need to dig in for a positive result tomorrow , which may require to include confidently converting penalties!

How many tickets have we sold? It’s a nothing to lose match for us as we aren’t expected to progress so go out there and play with freedom and confidence. You never know what will happen. I was there for Tade’s winner and will be there tomorrow for Gullan’s winner (hopefully)

Clutching at straws Franco, how many times have we been told there was an imminent signing happening in a few days? It was supposed to happen before Dumbarton then Aberdeen then now next week prior to playing at Cove. I have probably missed out another one or two times we have been told it's going to happen. I Realize if the manager is hunting for new players and that he doesn't want to publicise their names but why build up the supporters hopes then zilch.

Well the two possibly three in this week has produced zilch. That's very encouraging I'm sure.

No pre match interview presumably to avoid the obvious questions.

Pretty crap to be honest.

Never mind theres lovely pink strips on sale.

Every interview has said that Murray hoped to sign 2 or 3 this week. Hope is not any way close to an "imminent" signing. It's barely enough to build expectations on. If players don't agree to the terms on offer or need more time to consider their options, nothing the club or manager can do about it, especially on a tight budget.

Other factors could be that the targets have irons in the fire with other clubs and agents trying to squeeze the last % out of the deal to line their own pockets.

Yes I agree with Your two posts but why put out reports that we are about to make singings and they are really not sure. I think after three or four weeks fans will be getting a wee bit impatient. It might be the press is printing utter crap just to sell their adverts.

What the lack of signings has done is lost positive momentum.

After last seasons woes we were on a positive run, new manager, new players, new directors, good ticket sales etc then the stalling of the signings that everyone knows we need has just put a huge hault on the proceedings. Add in indifferent displays on the park, injuries to vital players further frustrated by the lack of new signings and all the positivity quickly turns to negativity.

It’s a very frustrating time for everyone including the management, but like I said the momentum loss is a big thing. 🤔

It's not the lack of signings that has cost us positive momentum. It's the inability to defeat two part time teams in the space of four days that killed it. Am I correct in thinking had we won those two games we'd have qualified for the next round? Anyways I'll be watching today on the TV. Perhaps with Aberdeen taking the game to us our offensive players will have space to operate but it also means our lacklustre defence is going to be under pressure and they have often looked ropey against far inferior forwards than they will face today. Usually the result is all that matters but today I'll take a defeat if there are encouraging signs in the performance.

Nailed it Castle.
And as Tx says you are correct regarding the outcome of these two games.
As to today's game I just hope that the weather is better over on the other side than up here. Torrential downpours every ten to fifteen minutes. Those who travelled to Wick ten years ago (where's the years gone?) will remember the heavy rain. Multiply that by a factor of ten and you won't be too far off the mark. Just at that point, that's the thunder and lightning started. Hope you all escape it in Aberdeen.

Thanks Craig - looks like audio on Raith TV then - hopefully a raucous affair with Messrs Raith TV.
