It wouldn't be the first time John McGlynn got it wrong over medical problems, deliberately playing Brian Graham despite needing an operation on a hernia for one. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Think players often delay operations especially when their club is involved in a relegation fight and they are desperately needed. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

This wasn't the case in respect of Brian Graham, McGlynn insisted on playing a half fit player. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

The mere fact that he had that issue with injuries and his inability to do full time training , begs the question why was he signed by McGlynn in the first place |

A very interesting read. It sums up John McGlynn and highlights how stubborn and reluctant he was to listen to the advice of the club physio and the player himself to try and get the best out of him. Another example in a long list i am afraid. Personally, i am so glad he is no longer our manager. |

Perhaps but I'd take JK 's tale of woe with a pinch of salt. Inverness fans said he was done when he announced coming to us, we chose to believe otherwise. Wouldn't be surprised if John McGlynn was of the same mind as us. I doubt Keatings said he was only able to train 3 times a week (we only train 4 times) when he was in talks to sign. _________________ Competitive goals: Connolly 15, Easton 6, Gullan 6, Stanton 4, Dick 3, Vaughan 3, Connell 2, Brown 1, Frederiksen 1, McBride 1, OG 1. |

Aye Right!
So you have a medical problem that restricts your training to 3 days a week. Yet you omit to include this medical need into your new contract with the Rovers? Surely these things are all aired with t's crossed and i's dotted BEFORE you agree to a move?
If not, You need a new Agent Son!
The club ought to respond to this accusation. |

Incumbent on the club to do their homework really, if all of this is true of course. It would strike me that someone with McGlynn's alleged attention to the minutest of detail could miss such a thing. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

Presumably, given his comments re managing his hip problem, part time will suit him, having said that, I played on the newly re-laid Station Park on Wednesday night, the ball was bobbling all over and the surface felt claggy & spongey, despite all the rain it had taken. Might go up for the Huslkies game on Wednesday evening, see if they have done a better job of raking and watering it. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |
