My initial reaction is I'm not too enamored with it, would prefered a more purely blue and white effort. At least its a bit more unusual than recent tops. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Really not bothered in any way what a strip looks like.
Much more importantly is the quality of player inhabiting said strip.
This one is definitely retro, especially around the neck and sleeves with the red and white bands.
Exactly the same as that of the early 1960's when worn by folk like Dennis Mochan, Willie Wallace, Bobby Stein, Willie Polland et al.🙂 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

As someone who is way past the stage of buying football tops I really dont give a hoot what it actually looks like.Anyway pretty sure the colour/style isn,t aimed at folk like me but more the younger or youngish supporter
The size of the queue at the launch today would suggest its very popular and a good seller
Just out of interest how many of those on here that dont like the top actually purchase the tops normally? _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Quite like the top Vinnie but won’t buy it. Like you those days of buying strips are gone. But if I were of the top buying folk - then I would buy a triple X. _________________ Here Wee go again |

There appears to be lots of positive and favourable responses to this year's strip over on the other channel.🙂 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Same size as me Wullie though I bought one even if I don't wear it, it's good money to the club if you can afford it. This year's kit is cracking. Hoping the away kit is similar but white with navy stripes. |

Yesterday I said it was honking but after some sleep and seeing it on the Rovers site my opinion hasn't changed.
My eyes are drawn to the horrendous red and white striping around the neck and sleeves. |

HB.............what is your objection to the "horrendous" red, white and blue? It wouldn't be anything to do with the red would it. (Seeing as how red doesn't appear in the saltire?) _________________ Keeping the Faith (and the Missionary work!) |

I'm with you on this one Embow. More important is who's wearing it, and how he's playing?
I know it is commercially important for the club to continually change strips, but I can't remember if we did this annually back in the day? My Favourite strip was the white Jersey with the two horizontal blue hoops. My albeit old and frail powers of recollection is, we played with this for several seasons. I may of course be wrong. Maybe one of you older posters with far better memory than I, can put me right? |

When I said horrendous I was on about the red and white striping, I never mentioned anything about blue.
As for the Saltire and your reference to the union flag what does that have to do with it?? |
