Frankie had a great first season and a stuttering second. Still he should be doing better than Ayr United. Absolute sideways move for him. Wish him and Tumilty all the best with their new clubs

I think he would've flourished given a good run in his natural position, but circumstances did n't work out that way, hes gone and unfortunately to one of our rivals, I just hope we've not dropped a clanger, unless theres a rabbit or two to come out of the proverbial hat before the season starts for real.

Dont think we should be apportioning blame on Murray or the club for Musonda moving on.

We may or may not have offered him a deal which wasn,t good enough for him?

There could have been numerous reasons for him moving on

Letting Frankie go for a salary that Ayr can pay is a mistake, so I must assume sometching else was behind it.

A bit concerned by this. Not so much that Frankie has left though I'd have liked to have kept him. It's more the fact that he has joined and in my opinion greatly enhanced a rival and more than that it's a rival I was thinking would be below us come the end of next season. Of course Ayr still may very well finish lower down the league than us but as it stands there are no obvious candidates for who will finish bottom of the pile and that's worrying. I think we are going to be in for a right scrap next season.

Way I see it is he hasn't begged a player to stay offering more money than needed to convince players to stay he's basically said if you don't want to be here there's the door and that's the kind of attitude I like tbh come August hel start to look at loan players as its too soon to say what teams will loan who out till after pre season friendlies

Itís hard to tell if the Musonda we seen 1st season was the same Musonda we would have seen had he stuck around.

He was a rolls royce at times playing centre half and looked the real deal but last season didnít work out.

Injured then in/out side, often deployed as a full back which he clearly isnít. McGlynn certainly done him no favours.

Be interesting to see how he gets on down there, could prove a really good signing for Ayr

Maybe the difference between any offer we made and what Ayr put on the table was the length of contract. Many players joined us over recent times on the lure of a two-year deal, so Frankie's done just that in signing for one of our rivals

Murray will have a budget and if a player doesn,t fit into that budget its tough i,m afraid. Some players need to be realistic in what they want money wise and contract wise

BTW I,d have like to have seen Musonda stay
