What organisation allows their manager to run down their contract til the eleventh hour before entering meaningful negotiations regarding its extension if they have any intention of retaining his services?
At no time in recent months have our board given any indication that they wanted John McGlynn at the helm next season.
But what magnifies their glaring incompetence is yesterdays official statement that they are now STARTING the process to recruit a new manager. What have they been doing for the past months?
Surely you make every effort to retain the services of the incumbent or you begin the search for a replacement. From my reading of events our board of directors have done neither
So we now find ourselves with no manager and no assistant manager at a time when we should be actively recruiting players for next season.
All of our rivals will be doing exactly that and my fear is that all of the better ones will have been snapped up before we even begin our search. |

All part of the plan to have a new housing estate at Starks Park. I have not lost faith yet. But hope we can get a decent management model in place very soon. Or we might well be looking at supporting one of 41 other clubs or just watching English premier league on whatever channel. Need a footballer or a football oriented brain on the board. I wish I had a suggestion but might need to look out with Scotland for that - what’s Sean Dennis, or big Marvin Andrews doing these days? _________________ Here Wee go again |

LR, what ''organisation''? It's not appropriate to use that word in relation to Raith Rovers!
What shambles of amateurs ,more like!
They seem to have taken JMcG and Smudger for granted, willing to await their fate
and accept being out-of-work if so decreed from on high.
JMcG and Smudger had an alternative. Our Board didn't and are now presented with
a second opportunity to fall on their swords. |

Now I read the advert for the vacant managers job has a closing date of Friday 13th May clearly confirming my belief that the board have done nothing except opening the door and allow John and Smudger to leave.
With this recruitment timescale it’s unlikely we’ll have a manager in place until well into the latter part of May at best.
This is a terrible way to run a football club and those in charge should be embarrassed by their ineptitude and incompetence.
Maybe time to walk through that open door too guys. |

2022 so far suggests that they are either happy with how its all going or perhaps too incompetent to be embarrassed. They're a shambles and yet people still suggest we should all be getting behind them because they're trying to do the right thing and those that oppose them are not supporting the club.
I just read about the hoo-hah with the free programme at the Killie game being held back by the club because "it does not represent Raith Rovers". Complete shambles. |

Vice Chairman has left the club.
Despite everything that's happened in the last six months it would be churlish not to thank him for his input over the preceding years. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Indeed, seems an odd time after the events mid-season and the management team leaving earlier in the month. However, thanks is due. |

That's another boardroom change as Colin Smart of the Dean Park joins the board of directors.
Can only but wish him well and hope he is part of a successful tenure in the club's history. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Marvin Andrews was declared bankrupt some years ago.
No idea where I
He is or what he is doing at moment.
