We didn't half soften Celtic up for the Vikings.

Rangers again another impressive European display and into the semi finals. Good to see a Scottish side doing well in Europe for a change.

Would be even more impressive if the team was full of Scotsmen.

Quite impressive, a 13 year old team and a 10 year old team in the semis.

A Rangers v West Ham final would be some game. Don’t think the people of Seville would fancy the carnage it would bring mind!

I'm in Spain at the moment, where the focus has all been on Real Madrid's gazzillionth European title. I'm only now discovering what went on to cause the delayed kick-off and better understanding what you were getting at, WJ

Awful scenes outside the ground last night before kick off and an almost equally bad opening ceremony. Hopefully all fans who were meant to be there got in and enjoyed the game. Shame about the outcome for Liverpool but Madrid played the game as you'd expect them to. Soaked up pressure, hit Liverpool clinically and then just defended and created opportunities on the counter.

The absolute lack of mobility in the Madrid midfield is astounding when they've not got the ball. Cut apart so many times. Courtois pulled of some outstanding saves to keep them in it at half time though. Exceptional.

Courtois made two saves, one from Mane in the first half and one from Salah in the second that were exceptional. The rest were brwad and butter types that had he not made would have went down as goalkeeping errors. Other than the Salah save Real were rarely troubled in the second half.
As for the scenes outside I hear that the Dunfermline Supporters Club are to request that the french authorities take over the handling of their match days if it means that fans with tickets can't get into to see the game.

Andy Robertson said that he gave a genuine (obviously ) ticket to a mate but he was denied entry. Seems that other fans only got in for the second half.

Should of held it at The Excelsior Stadium, never hear of this stuff happening there.

Poor final on the whole. Soon as they scored it was always going to be feign injury, roll on the ground at slightest contact, loads of substitutes taking 2mins each to make etc etc… Commentators call it ‘game management’ which I suppose it is when officials NEVER add the time on at the end, always going to encourage it.
