If Rovers felt they were hard done by with the non-award of the penalty, imagine how Peterhead are feeling tonight?
Absolutely shocking and absolutely no excuse for it. _________________ Dougie Hill

I think after the draw for the quarter finals, we can safely say we'll be watching Hearts v St Mirren and Hibs v Motherwell on the BBC. _________________ Dougie Hill

That penalty non award to Peterhead was one of the worst refereeing decisions I have seen for a very long time. There was no excuse. The referee was perfectly positioned and close by, and it wasnt even borderline. The keeper should certainly have been booked and possibly also red carded.
You'll never know but it could have had a serious impact on the outcome of the match given how dominant Peterhead had been in the first half.
The wee team always needs these breaks to go for them against the big teams but a bit like ourselves at Celtic park you never get them.
And there is no explanation or accountability you just have to suck it up. |

We all rail against refereeing performances, decisions, attitudes, the lot. But it doesn't get anybody anywhere, the incompetence keeps getting more and more extreme.
Complaints don't work, criticism doesn't work...
Perhaps a boradcaster, or you tuber or whoever could compile a list of 10-20 howlers, backed by a laughing policeman style soundtrack, and run a howler of the season competition exclusively for Scottish referees.
The whole thing could go viral and the ridicule resulting force some form of addressing of the issue by the football authorities. Or, if not, we could all have a right good laugh at their expense.
It's pitiful, it really is, but never going to change unless some different approach is taken... |

Cant say I'm even surprised it came out like that |
Both of the ugly sisters drawn away from home is a turn up for the books. Guessing Premier Sports will be holed up in Dundee to cover both games as they're the only teams to being them any revenue |
