Ideal scenario. If I've worked this out correctly...

* Rovers to beat Hamiton
* Dunfermline to beat Partick
* Kilmarnock to beat Arbroath

At the bottom.

* Ayr to beat Queens (Queens relgated). That along with a Dunfermline win against Partick means it's between Dunfermline and Ayr for the relegation playoffs. They'd both be level on points.

Following week:

* Ayr still have something to play for so hopefully a jammy win against Partick.
* If Ayr can win a draw or win for us against the already crowned champions would be enough for us to make the playoffs.
* Queens already relegated and nothing to play for so might feel a bit less pressure and go out and get a surprising win/draw against Dunfermline meaning Dunfermline finish 9th.

We need 2 wins and to swing 9 goals to go ahead of Partick, so we need Ayr and Dunfermline to beat Partick, comfortably too if possible.

Ayr and Dunfermline drawing with Partick would also do if we win our last two.

You're right, my mistake, I thought Partick were still 6 ahead of us, not 3.

One single win for Partick would effectively put our play-off bid to bed. Partick will drop points, it's a question of how many. As Castle said, they could draw both and it's well possible they could lose both. Of course we still need to win both of our games, no matter what else happens, to have any kind of chance, although technically we could win one, draw one and still qualify. Winning both games is a huge ask for us in our current state. I wouldn't even say we need to win theses games convincingly. It's too late for that. If we do get into the play-offs, it will be on points, not on goal-difference. Right now, our chances of getting into the play-offs are almost as slim as getting promoted, if we did.

At least we can take Championship football as a given next season - something the Pars can't yet do at the moment.

Really needing a second to give a wee bit of breathing space.
Doesn't look like the Pars are going to help in any way.
