A new contract signed up to the end of the '23-24 season. Looking forward to seeing him become an established regular first team player.

Great news. Looks a real prospect, two footed, likes to get forward, not scared to put himself about.

Pleased to see Aaron getting an improved and extended contract.
Like the way that he references Rossco , as it not only shows that he has the right attitude to playing football but also suggests that he sees himself as a Rovers player in the longer term (although
if he goes the Dylan Tait way and moves on for a decent fee ,that's fine too ).

It does make me wonder where Spencer sits right now…

Good to see movement on this signing, hopefully Spencer, Musonda and Tumilty will follow after this weekends fixtures make our position known, if not then Mr McGlynn needs to make a better job of finding the replacements ( if finances allow )

Guessing John McGlynn will be our man in charge next season on the back of Arnotts extended contract?

You might have a point there regarding John Vinnie. It may have been a consideration in the lad's thinking to re-sign?

Great to see young Aaron reap something from the really good performances he has put in this season. To be honest, and as young as he is, I would've liked to have seen more of him.

Not seen a great deal of him so far, but he certainly looks like a good prospect.
Fingers crossed he gets the opportunity to shine this coming season.

Hopefully he will continue his development and grow into the starting line up with a bit of time and encouragement from the coaches and fellow players.
Smile

My train of thought is,I wouldn,t expect someone affectively out of contract in a few weeks to be extending contracts if he,s not going to be here next season

Good signing. He looks to have good pace and energy anytime i have watched him. I think the signing of Williamson, who looks average at best, has restricted his game time. I hope he starts more games next season.

Except Arnott is already signed through next year, so it makes sense to extent a cheap youngster that has already got playing time and looked good.

Correct, but it’s not a shock or surprising extension is my point.

And my point is that a very young, potentially good starting player with only one year left on his contract is a no brainer for an extension, regardless of JMcG’s status next year.
