Good to have Player of the year awards back - wonder who will win it?
What are your thoughts?

My thoughts would be Jamie MacDonald, won us more points than he's lost again this year. I don't think we've had a consistently outstanding outfield player throughout the whole season. Berra has been solid but is starting to miss games more regularly. Dario started the season like a house on fire but has tailed off a lot. |

I think I would have to agree with you Gary - Jamie has done really well and saved us on number of occasions this season. |

If we had signed Stanton at the start of the season he may have been in with a shout. Agree with majority in Jamie MacDonald |

Yes, Jamie Macdonald has had a good campaign but, for me, choosing the goalkeeper is often the easy shout when a season has not gone according to plan. My choice is Ross Matthews because of his consistency, his total commitment in every game, his refusal to hide or quit when things aren't going well, and his flashes of real class (goal at Kilmarnock springs to mind). Whether the team is attacking or defending, he's never far from the thick of the action. |

Jamma is on record as saying that keepers never get any credit. Maybe a wee surprise on the cards for him then! |
