When he was fit, he strolled through most games. A real statement of intent having him back for next season, and he will only benefit from playing alongside somebody with the experience of Berra.
Really chuffed with that, well done the club and well done to Frankie for showing loyalty also. |

I suspect Frankie’s math is simple…he will start next year for us. If he starts the season well, Raith will be fielding offers for the Winter window from either Scottish Premiership or English League One/Championship sides. Regardless, at the end of the year Frankie is free to find a spot more to his liking, if he wishes. He is betting on himself, and I like that. I would have preferred a two-year deal, but apparently Frankie is confident he can make a name for himself again. |

By all accounts, Frankie Musonda was heading out of SP until he was injured, whereupon Raith agreed to
fund his op and he signed on again, but only for the season. The first quarter is gone and he hasn't played. How many minutes did he play last season? Is it too early to say that Raith took a punt which hasn't paid off?🤔
If it is too early, how long before it does become pertinent ? |

Not having much luck appears to be quite injury prone, mind you it was the same with him last season ,didn't start a game until November..................... at this rate he'll be due us another season |

Maybe this is why he hasn't had so much game time since his recovery, and in the last few weeks.
Were we keeping him out of the shop window? |

Nah, he's down the pecking order for starting at left or right back and even further down the pecking order for starting at centre back. I'd guess he's been persuaded to extend his contract on the basis he takes Tait's place when he goes to Hibs. I know McGlynn had mentioned he had plans for Frankie moving into midfield so that would make sense. No way he's signed on otherwise as I'd suspect with his contract due to expire in January there would have been several teams happy to take him. |

Agree with that Craig. Hope he can slot in to midfield - I think he is probably versatile from what we have all seen already. Happy with this extension and hopefully will further extend his contract. _________________ Here Wee go again |

Excellent news for him but that leaves us without another defender. |
