It appears last night was not young Arnotts first goal for rovers. It's been recorded as an own goal!!!! |

How about Arnott - he showed last night he is tenacious and reacted like lightning to that situation unlike a couple of others who just threw up their arms - he acted positively. I’d like to see him given more time. _________________ Here Wee go again |

Yes, it's an odd thing , Wellyboot, but all three of our main strikers look as tho they would benefit from playing in a two, Varian with either Matej or Gullan off him, but JMcG doesn't see it that way!
A couple of comments on last night's game.
The BBC website has Aaron Arnott's goal down as an own goal. I've looked at it again, on the highlights, and am still of the opinion that it's Aaaron's , despite its high flight giving rise to the suspicion that it could have been the defender desperately attempting to clear the bar. Pity that there is any doubt ,since it was Aaron's first senior goal.
It looks as if Zanatta has been putting in some shooting practice with his left foot. Defenders have been wise ,for some time, to him seeking to get onto his favoured right peg.
Generally, there seemed to be a new vigour to Dario's game ,looking to get involved and make things happen. Let's hope that his ankle is fine for Saturday. |
