Hoping to get to the game this week. It’s been Madness this past week but at a Squeeze I should be there. Hopefully the team carry on the run of form

A tough game ahead this weekend, its a massive opportunity to create a wee gap and keep the momentum going.
A lot hinges on the team selection though, is Spencer fit? Without him we've never looked as strong and composed on the ball. |

With Brad out for the best part of three months or so , it will be very enlightening to see Saturday's starting line-up and personnel deployment.
A difficult game becomes more tricky still. |

With it being Killie, I expect a modified 3-5-2 or similar...a lot depends on Connolly being 100% or not. |

A tough match on Saturday just got tougher. The injury to Spencer is a real body blow and could potentially put a dent in our challenge for promotion.
It looks like we will need to add another midfield player to our January shopping list to replace Spencer and Tait. Also, we badly need a striker so plenty of shopping for McGlynn to do in the January sales. |

The window will give an idea of the clubs’ ambitions this season. Not for a long time has the top end of the Championship been so ‘weak’ looking and it’s easy to suggest we would have several more points on the board without injuries. Looking at the bottom end of the Premiership, even currently (with everyone fit) we aren’t far off the likes of Ross County, Dundee, Livi…if we made it, every chance we could establish ourselves up there.
Saturdays game is a good barometer of where we are and where we are going!
My fear would be giving them too much respect cause they might have been a top flight team for years, they might have the largest squad, the biggest budget by a mile…but they just really aren’t all that good! Unlike up at Arbroath, especially being at home, we need to impose OUR game on them and worry less about what they might do… |

I agree with much of this, but...
“Our game” requires two healthy mids...Tait, OK, but is Matthews 100%? He’s seemed a bit off it the last few times, so maybe he’s not fully well. This would be a hell of a time to tell Arnott, “go get’em, kid!”, not intended in a good way. There are times to toss the player in, not sure this is one. BRS, I just don’t know, and I’m certainly not convinced.
As for Killie, they are in the top reaches of the table, despite some struggles, so they deserve proper consideration and care. Ideally we keep the top four or Fife together until January, and then see who is willing to pot commit to reach for the title. Breaking free would be nice, but unrealistic. |

As ever, any win will do, be it silky soccer, or a slugfest.
This won't be easy. It never is (to be honest) as we witnessed in the first fixture but we dug in and came out on top. Let's hope for the same again today.
We need to be tight at the back as ever and hope to take any opportunities we get up front to be ruthless in from of goal. Killie's away record is good except for Inverness last Friday. A performance that they'll want to show was but an off night.
Given the league fixtures coming up three points would be more than very welcome no matter how we get them. Even a draw would be acceptable today.
I just hope that the loss of Brad doesn't impact on our performance too much. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Another important game today. (aren't they all) Unfortunately, the squeeze at the top of our league leaves very little room for error.
Brad will sadly be missed today, and I hope wee Connolly is back because his talents were most definitely absent in last week's game.
Ross and Varian seem to be forming a good understanding and maybe that will give us the goals we will undoubtedly need today.

strange league this year. 3 points separates the top 5 and 3 points separates the bottom 5. _________________ now enjoying my fishing time, at peace with nature. but being a avid radio ham my global contacts have increased. any hams around call me lz2csk on 14200 or their aboyuts |

Starting eleven about as strong as we can manage with Frankie, Bene and Pop on the bench.
HT. A wee bit lucky to be level.
Scores elsewhere not too encouraging for either us or Killie _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Want, yes...need, no...Killie looking revived, perhaps they’re turning as corner and will go on a little rampage versus the other top teams. |
