I mean if he had a good goal scoring record he'd not be signing on loan to a wee club like us. Let's give the lad a chance, a change of manager and being settled somewhere can make all the difference to a player. Not convinced by the ridiculous squad number though. 99... really? |

I am a Livi fan and believe me guys give the lad a chance and you just might be very very surprised.
I can for a fact tell you that 3 SPL clubs wanted him on Loan and Livingston refused to let him go - also 2 clubs from English League 1 but the lad really liked your coach hence why he signed.
Number 99 - reason for that is because number 9, 10 and 15 were taken and someone at the club take 99 as a joke and he did 😁 |

Loko could not lace Poplatnik’s boots up lads - take my word for it - this lad will get us promotion if he stays whole season. |
Are you a Livi fan? They reckon Lars looked better. This boys scored heehaw goals for Livi in the league and if he does as well as you suggest he'll be away back to Livi in January as according to their statement they've put in an option to recall in the loan agreement. |
Livi fan and really gutted to lose him. Poplatnik is by far best finisher we had and you can’t even put Lars in the same sentence.
Problem with us Livi fans is that if the lad is not 6’4 and a bettering ram we think he is *bleep* - I think we would complain if we signed Messi that he is not tall enough 🤦♂️ This lad has it all, he is a real poacher number 9 and the reason he never managed to get going for us is because you can’t play someone who is 5’9 up from on his own and not play the ball on the ground, 80% of our game is all about punting the ball as high as we can and hope striker wins it.
Play him up top, keep the ball on the ground and play it to hun feet or behind the back line and this lad will get you goals. |

Looks quite skilled with his first touch, something Ugwu and (especially) Duku struggled with. Seems quite happy to pass or drive, and certainly gets back down the pitch to help move the ball back forward. We might just have gotten something here, but if he is as good as a few touches made him look, he’ll be leaving in January when Livi recall him. |

He made 5 league starts and had 2 starts in the league cup last season at Livingston. |

when he came on made a impressive start. as did the No.16 sub/trialist. they both offer us opportunities but need a full game to show just how good they are/can be. _________________ now enjoying my fishing time, at peace with nature. but being a avid radio ham my global contacts have increased. any hams around call me lz2csk on 14200 or their aboyuts |

So, from the post match interview, McGlynn doesn't know much about him but thinks he might fit in well with our style of play.
Who the hell signed him then? Surely McGlynn has some say in these loan signings or are clubs just chucking players at as for free because we will improve them.
Totally baffled.
Having said that, if someone in the office wants to sign Messi without any input from McGlynn, crack on. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

Equally confused at Mcglynns apparent indifference towards someone he presumably signed? Surely not on the back of one game against us?
Odd. |

Regardless of how he got here, today he looked sharp, skilful and fast. He added something different when he came on. Very happy to have him on board. _________________ RIP RONNIE |

Agree with this, on first showing at any rate. As for the manager's choice of words and perceived vagueness about the player - I reckon that's a pure smokescreen from the bald one, just not wanting to hype him and going the other way....but on both counts, time will tell. |

Not a bad start to his Rovers career 😉
Regarding managers post game interview I can assure you that is smoke screen, he knows Matej very well and wanted to take him in loan straight away when Matej joined Livingston 😁🤦♂️ I am guessing he doesn’t want to out too much pressure on him and is playing it cool. |
