A tournament where the number of participants can fluctuate due to "Up to 12 Premiership B teams". What they could do is just not have these B teams involved at all and make it a tournament for the lower leagues, like it should be |

I don't mind the Colt teams in the Challenge Cup. For example , when we played Aberdeen Colts at SP it was my first sighting of Bruce Anderson. Although we won convincingly, he played well that day and scored a cracker.
The non- Scotland teams were an experiment which didn't quite work out, although, again there were moments e.g. when that Irish team came across and Ziggy was convinced that he was offside and seemed to stand with the ball for half-an-hour until Lewis Allan ran forward, asked for the ball and slammed it into the net! One of the oddest goals that I've seen. |

BBC News - Ross County: Football operations suspended after Covid outbreak

Not a big surprise to be honest.
It's been rife in the last two weeks up here after a year and a bit of very low numbers. Wembley trip being mentioned along with a big influx of "staycationers" as reasons.☹️ _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

This is what the SPFL call the bracketed draw.
https://twitter.com/spfl/status/1412735828149870601?s=20
What it means for us is that the 3rd round tie will be the winners of Raith Rovers v's Forfar or Formatine against the winners of Dundee B or Peterhead or East Fife or St Johnstone B _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |
