The African Wild Dog is the nickname for the Guinea Bissau national football team.

No mention of Africa on the "inclusive" BBC's website! Rolling Eyes

They won 3-1 v Eswatini today:
https://uk.soccerway.com/matches/2021/03/26/africa/africa-cup-of-nations-qualification/swaziland/guinea-bissau/3117879/

Not clear of oor boy featured today or not - hope so! Smile

Looking at the other defensemen, at least three have played and/or are playing at a higher level than the Scottish Championship, so even getting practice with them can’t hurt.

Takes me back when there were 3 Browns and 2 Hislops playing for the Rovers.

I suppose you could add Baker for Pele as well.

Can anyone reccomend one or two sites or links that will give a bit more detailed info than the very basic one that I had - about Guinea Bissau's game v Congo tomorrow?

Here you go Neil:

It's a few pages of things to do in and around Aberdeen, as you most definitely need to get out more!

Perhaps check out Le Monde, as Guinea-Bissau is From the French sphere of influence.

As far as I can see, our own "F. Mendy" didn't play. Great that he was a part of that successful squad though, as Congo seemed to be outstanding favourites.

Nando might even get off the bench at Starks Par now. Wink
