Less than three weeks ago the guy was the architect of one of their best results in their history.
Now he's history. |

Perhaps, perchance,
Oh! Mano, Oh! Mano?
What has MacGregor done?🤔🥴
The Tom English take on matters might not be too far from the truth. Never thought I'd type that regarding the author!🤔
"Ross County chairman Roy McGregor is pretty ruthless. He's gone through a few managers now. Are they any further ahead than they were before?
I thought it was a surprise when they got rid of Jim McIntyre and Billy Dodds in 2017. McGregor said he wanted the club to reconnect with the community - that sounded odd to me.
It's pretty rare that a manager gets sacked directly after a game. You have to question the state of that club. Is it a stable club?
They seem to make a lot of decisions to change managers, change set-ups, squads changing all the time. It seems to me they seem to be making poor decision after poor decision there.
They're bottom of the league, they've scored 10 league goals this season, the last win was ironically and bizarrely against Celtic. They can't score goals so once they concede that's game over.
Stuart Kettlewell has gone, he's a sacrificial lamb, but what else is going on that makes it a failing club right now?"
Another poor decision then? _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Ross County are just another Gretna except they have existed for longer. Quite why they are held in such esteem by the football media goodness only knows.
Hughes appointment is weird but will be interesting. Looks akin to Sam Allardyce getting the WBA gig. |

Akin to Big Sam, NR ?
Think I see what you mean, but I shouldn't have read your post so close to bed-time! I may wake up in a cold sweat, having had the nightmare that Steve Clarke has been replaced as Scotland manager by Hughes. He does have pals in the media, but whenever he comes on eg Off The Ball I switch off the radio.
I do feel sorry for Stuart Kettlewell ,tho. Seems a decent guy and hope he gets a new position shortly. |

Shelly Kerr resigns as head coach of SWNT
She waited until the Ross County appointment to make sure wingnut never got the post. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Working out well for Hughes in Dingwall.
Team down to nine men with most of the second half to play.🤭 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

I know it's the season of goodwill to all men, but, I, for one, would not blame any Rovers supporter who experienced some element of schadenfreude when hearing the result from Dingwall today. |
