My wife agrees that Bob & Berts is where Next was. Also, she thinks that Quiz is where Olivers used to be.
All this goes to show that if you want to know anything about Kirkcaldy High Street's shops ask the wives. |

Yellow card for sexism!
Oliver’s was at 151, which is now Savers. Quiz is at 143-145, Bob and Bert’s is 157-163. |

My better half is now agreeing that Savers was Olivers. She's still trying to figure out what Quiz was.
As for the sexism comment, I know my place in our house. It was after the rolling pin came out after I said she had smaller feet so she could get nearer the sink. |

Maybe for you, but “Dodge City” (of McKinney) still plasters there airwaves over here! Of course, I still remember wandering down to Menzies to browse the Airfix and Revell model kits...of to pick-up the latest Commando Comics (https://www.commandocomics.com/). Amusingly, I just ordered six of those 1974-75 comics off E-bay, just because. |

Late seeing this, nope. The other locations I got them from were either the John Haig on Links Street at Ramsey Road or the similar shop in the Valley (on Dunearm, about where the Co-Op is now) whose name I don’t recall. |
