I know! I know!
It must be worse than the Pars or East Fife winning the Premier League.
Really sticks in the craw. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Steady Embow, if the Pars ever win the Premier League then I'm giving up on football. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Klopp is a great manager, great leader and motivator.
This was the league 30 years ago when Liverpool last won it:
1 Aston Villa
2 Tottenham Hotspur
3 Arsenal
4 Chelsea
5 Everton
6 Southampton
7 Wimbledon
8 Nottingham Forest
9 Norwich City
10 Queens Park Rangers
11 Coventry City
12 Manchester United
13 Manchester City
14 Crystal Palace
15 Derby County
16 Luton Town
17 Sheffield Wednesday
18 Charlton Athletic
19 Millwall |
I'm guessing Liverpool were #1 and Villa #2 etc etc _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

I see that the ex Pars/Arbroath man Josh Falkingham just captained and lifted trophy for National League play off final to take Harrogate into the Football League for first time ever.
They beat Notts County 3-1 in the final.
Seem to vaguely remember him as being a narky little 'whatever'. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

I think you answered your own question there embow, goes with the territory
Had a wee read up on them on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harrogate_Town_A.F.C. they had had quite a history but, reading between the lines, looks like 2017 they got a big investment from somewhere to go full time pro, a lot of the clubs in the National are part timers. Good luck to them though I'd like them to revive their old name of Harrogate Hotspurs, give the big Spurs some company.
C'mon you Sulphurites _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

Gareth Bale? Wages? Totally obscene!!
In these very difficult financial times for many people I just hope he's donating a large chunk to whatever cause he's chosen related to poverty.😡😡😡 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

I get more annoyed having to keep Gary Lineker in crisps & no choice in the matter. Most BBC "stars" would earn much less in the commercial sector & why would anyone pay a DJ over a million ? Other Peoples Money syndrome. |

Aubameyang just signed a £250,000 per week contract at Arsenal who, a couple of weeks ago made 55 ‘behind the scene’ staff redundant due to lack of money due to Coronavirus pandemic :/ |

Premier League clubs to vote on curtailing the season.
What chance of this happening?
If the richest can't cope what chance the lesser lights surviving?
Worrying times indeed. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
