Thanks to everyone who contributed a tenner or more yesterday to help the
manager's budget. I hope more people will donate next week , either a tenner
or what they can afford. |

Your last chance on Saturday to contribute to this fundraiser (or the last time you have to hide behind the sofa). Let's make it big, we must help Rovers get out of this league. |

Thanks again to those who contributed today, inc one £30.
Could have been much more if others had put in a £1 or £2 each time. |

£1 or £2? I thought it was a tenner? _________________ Nothing to see here... |

Sly dig at those who didn’t contribute to the pretty poorly thought out fundraiser or couldn’t afford it. Poor show JAR
A simple thank you would of been much better. |

I don't think it was a bad idea but it seems it was a poorly explained concept.
I thought it was a flat £10 and am still unsure as to whether or not this was actually the case. Like many other I hold a season ticket, subscribe to the programme, do Roary Lottery, buy 50/50 and contribute monthly to the player fund. To be perfectly honest I balked at the £10, had it been a £5 or less I would have chipped in. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 5, Smith 4, Easton 3, Hamilton 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Mitchell 1, Mullin 1, Stanton 1, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

The marketing was very limited, should have been repeated & should have stated that all donations from £1 were very welcome. John Simpson is very busy on matchdays & there was no time for feedback from us the collectors or
the fans. I believe that we collected £3K plus but I haven't had any confirmation.
It should go without saying that no one expects donations from the very young,
the elderly or the hard up. |

If it wasn’t a flat tenner and indeed just a donation then I can guarantee more people would have contributed. As it was, it came over as a terrible idea albeit with the best interests of the club in mind. Whoever ran the scheme, explained it terribly.
Instead of having a go at the fans, maybe have a look at the organisers. _________________ Nothing to see here... |
