Purchased from Airdrie by all accounts. Good signing in my opinion, some SPL experience and left sided where we were weaker last season. Replacement for Crane?

Never really stood out in any game I’ve watched him in but we needed a replacement for Crane, he knows the league and his appearances over the last two years suggest he hasn’t struggled with much injuries which is good.

Is he part time or full time? Main site doesn’t say.

Right back next please and we can think about playing guys in their preferred positions which would be refreshing!

Wiki credits him with 8 games with Hamilton, SoccerBase not so much.

We'll just have to find out for ourselves what he has in his locker.

Re-watched the highlights of the 3-4 game at the The Excelsior.
I think it was MacDonald who put in a great tackle to break up an early Raith attack. It definitely was MacDonald though that collected the ball and drove through the middle of the park to help set up the Airdrie 2nd.
Also, on that showing Jao Vitoria would be a decent signing, 2 very well taken goals and an assist.

Some Airdrie fans suggesting that although he's not the strongest defensively he is tidy going forward. (as the 3-4 game might verify).

If that's the case, an almost exact match as a replacement for Crane. But at least this time he'll be our player, and not a loanee

When's the last time we had a full back who actually was above average at defending? Even the likes of Jason Thomson were fairly limited in that regard.

Crane had a bad season and wasn't actually that good at getting forward from full back, albeit he had more success operating from a more advanced position -wing back or even wing. If this guy can bomb forward well from full back it'll be an improvement.

Described by all as having bags of energy. If our team this year is more mobile and longer on effort than last year's side it'll only be a good thing, and the signing of Hendry would seem to fit that mould as well.
