Bo'ness United are indicating their intention to leave the Juniors and join the EoS league to compete in the pyramid.

Kelty Hearts are rumoured to be following suit, possibly sensing a gap in the market due to Cowdenbeath dropping down the leagues quicker than a barmaid's drawers.

Clydebank are the latest aiming for the top leagues, at a recent meeting it seems they may be going the route of Kelty and may join the EOSL.

You'd have thought Clydebank being in the East of Scotland might have confused the Germans 75 years ago.
I bet they meant to blitz Dunfermline.

Alas the bomb aiming of the Bosche failed to take out our near neighbours but did for Kings Park in Stirling, their folding brought forth the embryonic Stirling Albion.

Strong rumours abound that the majority of the top SJFA sides are going to join the 21st century and become part of the pyramid - even though only about 10% of them have facilities that would be acceptable above the sixth tier (ie, not good enough for highland/lowland league).

In my view, the next step should be the regionalisation of all part-time football, including combining leagues 1 & 2 into a league one north and league one south (or east/west)

Things not going well for Kelty Hearts, they loose 1-0 to their nearest challengers LTHV last Saturday.

Tonight LTHV win 1-0 in their game in hand against Tynecastle.

This now means that Kelty have to beat LTHV this Saturday for the title.

Their 100% home record v Hutchie Vale's 100% away record, sounds a cracker!

Unfortunately I've checked my diary and I'm engaged on Saturday afternoon so any plans to attend this are out he window Wink

Kelty ran out 3-1 winners to claim the title, so good news for at least one Fife team last Saturday I suppose.

Cove beat Spartans 4-0 so that is pretty much done and dusted. A certain M Megginson and P McManus were among their scorers.

The East of Scotland League with existing and new inductees will be split into three conferences, A, B & C
The chart shows the breakdown.
I'm not sure as yet how the promotion/playoffs will work.

The new East of Scotland League will be organised into three "conference-style" divisions with the winners of each playing off to become overall champions.
