Former midfielder now top man at Police Scotland.

Livingstone was part of our reserve side under Frank Connor in the mid 80's

Now the heid of polis in Scotland.
I'm sure he was about to retire but stepped in to hold the fort after Gormley fiasco.
With a salary like his I'd be hanging around for a few more years as well!
Anyone know if he's a Fifer, or not, playing as he did for us back in the day?

Obviously better at his day job than he ever was as a footballer. Not holding down a regular place in Bobby Wilson's team says it all.

Not sure when he joined polis, but he was a solicitor before being a plod.
Might have been a trainee solicitor when with us or even still a student.
Others may know.
I'm fairly sure he played in the first team and wasn't just a reserve.
The Rovers 'Bible' will clarify but I'm too lazy to go and dig it out the cupboard upstairs and look up the guy's career. Razz

There was a player profile on the back of a programme towards the end of 83/84.
He's Dunfermline born and bred and a fan of the debt defaulters.

Aye! He's renting the upper floor from me.
After all it's only the country retreat, no' the town house. Wink

He's at my place of work today for a meeting. If I see him, I'll ask him about the Rovers.

In these parts the first question is "Who's your father?"
We need to know. Very Happy
Then you can ask about the Rovers' days.
Mines along with many, many others knew Lloyd George. Wink
(That'll be lost on the younger generation)

At least it's not "What school did you go to?"
