I think Hardies goal in extra time came from a defence splitting pass from Davo to be fair.
I assume he went for experience to keep on the pitch..obvious call really to make.
Bigger mistake was Barr not starting. Everyone knew Brechin would keep it narrow and make us play through 10 men....should have started with two wingers in the first place. |

The damage was already done before Yogi arrived.
Key desistions made pre season and throughout the season have cost us dearly.
1. Appointment of Locke & Jackson.
2. Loaning out Vaughan
3. The sale of Bates.
4. Signing of inexperience loan players from Rangers.
5. Not sacking Locke in December.
6. Not signing a keeper
All had an effect on our season. However in saying that, yogi did not do enough to galvanise the team and get the best out of the playing staff. Also making some poor tactical desisions in matches.
A lot of the paying staff also need to ask themselves ,did they do everything they could for the club. Answer to that is no. Many players in the squad did not stand up and be counted when required. That starts with the captain who needs to show the kind of leadership qualities that players require.
We had so many chances to avoid the situation we find ourselves in today. Everyone has a share in blame.
Throughout this season the MOTM for me has been the fans. Despite everything that has been thrown at us we have stuck by them. That is commendable.
Full time is a must if we want to get back up next season. Whether we can afford that is a different matter. Then next appointed manager has a big task in hand. New man new broom. _________________ Only on fan talk can supporters find a negative in a 5-0 win. 🤔 |

I agree that that the damage was done before Hughes arrived. Until Saturday, I would not hear a bad word about him. I am angry about his hollow promises "Come and see us in the play-offs - you will not be disappointed!" and "We WILL get through on Saturday".
Ultimately we were well outside the relegation spot when he arrived. He was a top manager hired in to save us from relegation and our finish was on goal difference. One more point would have saved us and if we all knew he was offski at the end of the season, no matter what - what kind of motivation was that for the players? One more point - or maybe one goal from a whole season would have saved us, but Hughes did not give enough of a flying whatever! Blame the players, blame refrees, but he did not even come on Raith TV to address us on Raith TV before he walked. He failed miserably.
I had Hughes down as an honest, hard working and straight talking man. I'm not so sure now. With hindsight, I think he gave up on us weeks ago. |

I’m playing in a young professionals 5-a-side tournament today and this roaster is the guest speaker and is holding a Q & A.. could be interesting...
Any suggestions of questions will be taken into consideration. All questions suggested will be asked until he tries to fight me. |

I'd just get up and walk out once he starts yapping, safe in the knowledge that you'd heard all his claptrap before. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |
