The help I have had to publicise from many folk at starks park has been great and much appreciated.I think what bigeein is trying to say is that it doesn't look like anything is being doing to get involved as there isn't a lot of tickets sold. There is a lot being done.As for me doing fundraising for the club that could only happen if we started up a raith rovers fundraising group like we did for reclaim the rovers.Otherwise we all do our own thing to raise as much as we can. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

Fife finest do not make any money from anything we do to help the club all the money goes to the club why would we take any money when all we do is try and help the club. Starks barmy is just talking a lot of crap and is just trying to stir trouble. |

I’m certainly not trying to cause bother! I apologise no problem.
My wording was just wrong, I meant I wouldn’t want Quinny to take a back seat from Fife Finest fund raisers in which they DO make money from.
I’ve been to plenty of the things, quizzes, racenights, pool comps etc..
Apologies again for confusing RRFC/Charity fundraising with the other things, my bad.
Sorry mighty Quinn and sorry to Keith too! |

I think you should delete your past few posts as they are completely wrong and totally misleading.
Your not even a member of the mentioned S.C either so how would you know.
Coming away with statements like that is on public forums doesn’t help any charity fundraising in any shape or form and harms the club as a whole. _________________ Only on fan talk can supporters find a negative in a 5-0 win. 🤔 |

What part of my last post don’t you get?
I apologise that my post suggests Fife’s Finest have ever profited from Charity fundraising, to the best of my knowledge they haven’t and I know for a fact Quinny wouldn’t ever allow it! It just came out wrong as I tried to explain. I’ve also pm’ed Quinny my apologies for any misunderstanding. I was a member for 5 or 6 years and have plenty good friends in FF’s, no reason for me to try and devalue them when I buy into most things they do!
No need to make a mountain out of a molehill.
I wrote something while sitting in traffic on a mobile (not driving!) which didn’t come out right and I’ve corrected myself, can we please move on?
I’ve no problem deleting my post or admin removing them if that’s what folk want. Cheers |

Everything is in place for tomorrow night so hopefully its brilliant and we can raise a few quid for the club aswell as the development squad and the foundation. It may become a regular event on the rovers calendar if all goes well.If folk are wanting to go at the last minute you can buy tickets from styx during the day or pay at the door when you arrive. The doors open at 7pm and the show will start about 7.30pm.Lets all STAND UP FOR RAITH _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

I must admit Gordon adamson and jim who do the tannoy announced the show whenever they could which was great and I thank them.Davie ahncock and the raith tv team were brilliant and mentioned the show whenever poss along with niall Russell from rovers media who does the website, facebook etc.I got great publicity from all connected with the club and certainly helped me a lot to sell tickets.
The biggest disgrace regarding publicity was the fife free press a local paper operated from Edinburgh.I was forever asking matt elder if there would be publicity for the stand up show in the hope of maybe getting some interviews done with the acts.I got neither and in the end I had to ask niall to speak to the press on my behalf in the hope of a different voice doing the asking.Do you know when I found the publicity was last night in a wee box on the gig page.It was that small I had missed it the previous 5 times I checked paper leading up till Friday. They even managed to get the info wrong with bad spelling and no mention of show time or ticket prices. Its no the first time that has happened to anything I have organised. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

As for the show despite a few hiccups it went well and although we never raised as much as I hoped we still managed to raise about £900 to be split 3 ways.I got a lot of good feedback so we are looking to do another show next year all going well. Thanks to everyone who came along or helped get raffle prizes etc it really is much appreciated. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE
