Must have been thrilling to have seen Stephenson's Rocket go by on one of its first journeys. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

The 200 Club will be open today at noon if anyone attending today's game wishes a pre match refreshment. All welcome. Entry to the 200 Club will be via the South Stand concourse. |

I hope there is a good turnout today as it's for a good cause and also to remember a really nice guy. |

Asked on other forum if there was to donate from abroad - is there a way? Can contribute directly to charities but would rather it came through in Mr. Gourlay's name. _________________ Here Wee go again |

Just as stunning as laying the foundations to Edinburgh Castle Mr. Rock - I did see The Mallard and The Flying Scotsman from my garden in Balsusney Road though - don't remember what this classes were called now but I was a bit of a trainspotter - they also used the shunting line at the bottom of the garden - annoying.
Hope today is a success and all the training pays off for a young man I never knew but from all accounts was a Rovers treasure. _________________ Here Wee go again |

Great day!
My only gripe was with the wee hitlers in the yellow jaikets, why were they even there at all on a day like that?

There was also 2 police officers there aswell for some reason.Apart from that and the nonsense over not getting to sit in the south stand it was a great afternoon of etertainment by the legends. The gaffer strolling about in midfield and bill leckie hobbling down the left wing were a couple of highlights. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

The South Stand situation was ridiculous, to explain to those who don't know, the story from the steward was that a group were allowed across by other stewards that apparently shouldn't have been & refused to move back & anyone who attempted to go across would be ejected but to me that's just not following stewards' instructions which is exactly the same as what those already in the South Stand were doing with no hassle.
Also while the website article did say fans will be accommodated in the Turnbull Hutton Stand it should've been made clear that this is contrary to the Fife Free Press article which I'll add must've come from someone within the club as they wouldn't just make up the info about getting allowed into the South Stand.
The more I think about it too the more I think that the comment made by Eric Drysdale to yourself was extremely disrespectful, saying "well this isn't for Ronnie Coyle" in relation to the South Stand being open for the Ronnie Coyle match but not this match. |

I think there was a bit of a break down in communication regarding seating arrangements. I was certainly under the impression that entry was via the Turnbull Hutton stand. It would then be possible to move throughout the ground to the South Stand. I'm sure that was stated on the website or in the press. Perhaps there was a last minute change of plan as sometimes happens.
I don't think we should be getting all hot under the collar over this issue and deflecting away from what yesterday was all about. |
