The event which is being organised by the Raith Supporters Trust will be held on Saturday 24th January in the Beveridge Park Hotel in Kirkcaldy. Val will be joining Raith Rovers fans an a number of other special guests at the event which is guaranteed to be an entertaining evening.
Supporters Trust Chairman Alan Russell said "We are really looking forward to the Burns Supper and are delighted that Val has agreed to be our guest of honour. We are hoping to have a few other well known Rover's faces along and there will be some great prizes in our raffle and some special Rovers' memorabillia up for auction. It should be a great night." The evening will include a traditional three course Burns supper and tickets are priced at a very reasonable £25 per person or £200 for a table of ten. There will also be a £5 discount on tickets for all Raith Supporters Trust members. Tickets are available online from http://raithtrust.brownpapertickets.com, and fans will also be able to snap up tickets from the Trust Table in the South Stand at the Hibernian game on Saturday. |

Thanks to all who came along to the Burns Supper last night. It was a great night with over130 folk at it. Val McDermid was superb as were Frank Connor and Jock McStay in conversation with Ally Gourlay. Two Rovers greats with a tremendous amount of affection for our club. Also will never look at Roary Rover in the same way again after seeing him plunging a knife into a haggis! _________________ Join the Raith Trust at www.raithtrust.org.uk |

What were you expecting Steven?
Lion, King of the jungle, Carnivorous etc, etc.
You can take Roary out of the wild but you'll never take the wild out of Roary. _________________ Competitive goals: Connolly 15, Easton 6, Gullan 6, Stanton 4, Dick 3, Vaughan 3, Connell 2, Brown 1, Frederiksen 1, McBride 1, OG 1. |
