The Raith Trust are delighted to announce the publication of a new book that is sure to be a great hit for all Rovers fans with an interest in the history of our football club.
In "Rovers Greats", local historian David Potter introduces ten of the greatest players ever to represent Raith Rovers. Choosing only ten players is always a difficult challenge! From the little-known Harry Anderson, the first Raith player ever to be capped for Scotland almost 100 years ago, right through to the club’s record goalscorer and the man who led the club to victory in the Scottish League Cup and into Europe in more recent times, there can be no doubt that each deserve their place in the hearts of Raith Rovers supporters - even if there is a queue of legendary figures just as long who didn’t make it into the book!
“Rovers Greats” can be ordered direct from the Trust website for £9.99 plus P&P (£2 in the UK, £5 by international air mail). If you prefer not to pay online, please get in touch with me by PM or email, and we’ll reserve a copy for you to collect and pay for at the Trust's information stand at a home game, or at any other Trust event.
The book will be available from the club shop from Saturday onwards, and we also hope to have copies stocked in other local retail outlets soon. Further details will follow shortly. _________________ Follow the Trust on facebook and twitter |

Another way you can get a copy of "Rovers Greats" - by sending in an entry to the competition published in the Fife Free Press last Friday (it's on the back page, but be quick!)
Also, if you want a copy as a stocking filler get down to the club shop as they have copies there. And because I'm kind, anyone who lives in Kirkcaldy and orders online today or tomorrow (before mid afternoon when I switch off the computer for Christmas) will get their copy hand-delivered so it's with you before Santa. _________________ Follow the Trust on facebook and twitter |
